Privacy Policy

Last updated 21 July 2026. How rain.fun handles your information.

01Overview

This policy explains what information rain.fun (the “Interface”) collects, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We built the Interface to need as little personal information as possible: no email address, phone number, or real name is required to launch or trade a coin. By using the Interface you agree to the practices described here.

02The blockchain is public

Everything you do on-chain — creating a token, buying, selling, claiming fees — is recorded permanently and publicly on Robinhood Chain. Wallet addresses, transaction amounts, and token balances are visible to anyone and are outside our control. We cannot edit or delete blockchain data, and neither can you. Our indexer reads this public data to power charts, holder lists, and profiles.

03Information you give us

When you connect a wallet, we see its public address. Content you submit — comments, token names, descriptions, images, and social links — is stored on our servers and shown publicly on the Interface. Do not put anything in a comment or token metadata that you would not want the whole internet to see; token metadata is sealed at launch and cannot be edited afterwards.

04Information collected automatically

Like most websites we receive basic technical data when you visit: IP address, browser type, and the pages you request. We use a session cookie to keep your wallet session signed in and local storage to remember preferences such as accepted terms and favorite tokens. We do not run third-party advertising trackers and we do not build advertising profiles of our users.

05How we use information

We use the data above to operate the Interface: authenticating your wallet session, displaying comments and profiles, computing points and referral credit, preventing abuse, and keeping the service running. We do not sell your personal information to anyone, and we do not use it for purposes unrelated to running rain.fun.

06Who we share with

We share data only with the infrastructure providers we need to run the service — hosting, database, and file storage for token images. These providers process data on our behalf. Beyond that, we disclose information only if the law genuinely requires it. Remember that on-chain activity and content you post publicly are visible to everyone regardless.

07Retention

Account records, comments, points, and similar data are kept while your account exists and the service operates. Indexed blockchain data mirrors the public chain and is retained indefinitely, as the chain itself is permanent.

08Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect stored data. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee against every breach. Because you use the Interface with your own self-custodial wallet, you are responsible for securing that wallet and its keys — we never hold them and can never recover them.

09Your choices

You use the Interface with your own self-custodial wallet, so your funds always stay under your control. You can ask us to delete your off-chain account data (comments, profile, points) through our community channels; we cannot delete on-chain records or content that others have already copied.

10Children

The Interface is not directed at children and may not be used by anyone under the age of legal majority in their jurisdiction. If we learn that we hold personal data belonging to a minor, we will delete it.

11Changes & contact

We may update this policy from time to time; the date at the top reflects the latest revision, and continued use after an update constitutes acceptance. Questions about privacy can be raised through our community channels: X (@launchonrain) or Telegram (t.me/rainfuntg).
